teachings \ how water senses emotions
By Alpha Lo, with consultation from Karen McChrystal, MA
Masaru Emoto has discovered that water responds to how we think and feel.

There are four basic steps in this process.
- EMOTIONS AND THOUGHTS AFFECT THE ELECTRICAL CURRENTS IN OUR BODY
Our nervous system, our heart, our auras, our meridians have electrical currents. The behavior of these currents correlates with the state of our emotions, thoughts and level of consciousness.
The currents in the different systems of the body are interrelated and affect each other. The strongest current is the heart and so it is the most important.
- THE CURRENTS IN THE HEART EMIT AN ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
The heart current is made of flowing currents of ions and electrons. These ions and electrons can hit an atom in the heart pacemaker cells causing that atom to gain in energy. (The pacemaker cells are the cells in the heart which can change from negative to positive charge and carry the current of the heart.) The atom can then release some of that extra energy in the form of photons. These photons form the electromagnetic field that is emitted from the heart.
If one is feeling negative emotions like anger, guilt, sadness, then the heart currents will be in an incoherent state. This causes the photons emitted to be incoherent with each other.
If one is in a higher positive state, feeling love, peace, bliss or compassion, then the heart currents will be in a coherent state. They cause the photons emitted to be coherent with each other.
The ions and electrons in the current can excite atoms
|

An electron or ion bumps into an
electron in orbit around an atom
|

this excites the electron
into a higher orbital
|

the electron decays back to its
original orbit while emitting a photon
|
|

Atom A will then emit electromagnetic radiation
when it relaxes to a lower state
|

Atom B emits electromagnetic radiation
when it relaxes to a lower state
|
|

The two radiation fields form an interference pattern

- THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD FORMS PATTERNS
If you drop pebbles into a lake, the resulting ripple pattern is called an interference pattern.
If you drop pebbles at random times into a lake, the ripples will cancel each other out.
If you drop pebbles at different places at the same time, the ripples can add up. There will be places where the troughs or the waves add up, giving a bigger trough. There will be places where the crests add up, giving bigger crests. When troughs or crests add together this is called constructive interference. And there will be places where the waves will cancel each other out, creating a flat place. The cancellation of waves is called destructive interference. The places where the troughs and crests add together are called anti-nodes, and the places where they cancel are called nodes.
The arrangement of anti-nodes and nodes in the interference pattern can be extraordinarily complex geometrical designs. Different heart currents will give rise to different types of geometrical patterns.
The dark lines are the crests of waves. The dotted lines are the troughs.
The dark dot and the shaded dot are where the waves constructively interfere.
Those are the places the water molecules are more likely to end up.
- THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD INTERACTS WITH WATER
The water is attracted electromagnetically to the coherent light. The coherent light is strongest at the points where constructive interference occurs. So the water will migrate to those places in the geometrically patterned electromagnetic field.
The water and the light become quantumly entangled at those places of constructive interference.
This means that when we are in higher emotional states, and we direct our feeling of, say, love or compassion, to a container of water, the water will freeze into beautiful geometrical patterns.
WAYS OF AFFECTING WATER
There are different ways a person can influence water. One is by having a person near the water; a second is by having a person far away sending intention to the water; and a third is by putting labels with different messages on vials of water.
The discussions in the above discussion were about how the emotional state of a person near the water can affect the structure of the water itself.
PROPOSED EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURE TO TEST THEORY
We present here a method to test the theory in the above discussion.
The experimental setup includes the subject(s) sitting within 8 ft of the water (as we think the heart's electromagnetic field is strongest within an 8 ft radius). We then find various ways to induce the subject into a variety of states of consciousness and a variety of emotions.
We compare the coherence of the person's heart with the incidence of symmetric well defined structures in the water that has been placed near the subject.
To measure the coherence of the person's heart we would put ECG's at various places near the heart.
To measure the incidence of symmetric well defined structures in the water, we can do Raman spectroscopy on the water after it is frozen, following Emoto's procedure. The width of the frequency bands in the Raman spectroscopy should give an indication of how well defined the structures are - the narrower the more defined. (In a related water experiment, a specially prepared Penta water had narrower Raman spectroscopy frequency bands.)
By then plotting the coherence of the heart's ECG vs width of Raman frequency bands we should be able to see if there is a correlation between the state of a person's heart and the state of the water.
Experiments and papers
EMOTOS METHOD FOR FREEZING WATER CRYSTALS
After the water has been exposed to certain thoughts or emotions it is put into about 20 or 30 petri dishes in amounts of about 1cc. It is then frozen at -25 C. After that, it is brought into a room at -5C. It is put under a microscope of magnification 200 to be photographed. The photographing process heats up the water. For about a 2 minute period, a water crystal will grow out of the ice around it. That's when the photographs are taken. There is a wide variety of crystals formed, but there is in general a family resemblance. Emoto then chooses the crystals he thinks are representative.
The experimenters who take the photographs have to be carefully chosen, as they influence the formation of the water crystals. Emoto teaches them to enter a pure state, in which they are looking for truth. Using the same word, different chosen experimenters may still affect the formation of the water crystals somewhat differently.
Labs in Korea and in Lichtenstein have replicated his findings. Emoto had to train the personnel in how to do it. For the Lichtenstein lab, Emoto had to work with trainees for a year before they could reproduce the experiment. There are a lot of variables, one of them being able to train experimenters to enter into a pure state.
Emoto has tried higher temperatures than -25C for freezing the crystals but has not yet succeeded in forming the complex patterned crystals at higher temperatures.
ANOTHER WAY TO FORM WATER CRYSTALS
According to Tom Hamilton, if you take the "imprinted" water and drop it on a glass slide, let it dry, it centrifuges by itself, naturally, and forms crystalline patterns,
visible under a microscope. This could be a way to replicate the experiment, without Emoto's lab.

HEART'S ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
The heart's ECG measurements are about 60 times as strong as that of brain EEG measurements. The magnetic component of the electromagnetic field is about 5000 times stronger than the brains and can be measured several feet away with a SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device). WAYS OF TREATING WATER
Lee Lorenzen prepares what he calls Microcluster water by passing it through magnetic fields and lasers. O-NMR analysis indicates the water has a narrow half value of resonance frequency (74-99 hz) comparable to that of melting snow water.
VIBRATIONS AND PATTERNS
There is a field of study, called cymatics, pioneered by Hans Jenny, where trays of different materials like sand, powder, or ball bearings are vibrated. At different vibrational frequencies, patterns of different complexity and symmetry are found in the particulate material is found.
